Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan is the Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) between 2014 and 2019. She has been an actor and board member of SSC since the year 2011. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Lauren Ash-Morgan also held the positions of producer costume/set designers composer/music directors and text coach. In her final year she served as director of lighting and design for SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble, however in the year that she made her directorial debut.
