Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan is the Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theater company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) between 2014 and 2019. She has been an actor and board member of SSC since the year 2011. As SSC's Artistic Directors, Lauren Ash-Morgan also held the positions of producer costume/set designers composer/music directors and text coach. In her final year she served as director of lighting and design for SSC's King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble, however in the year that she made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Her roles include a variety of other shows apart from acting. She is the daughter of poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised alongside two of her children at Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her school of choice. She participated as a cheerleader. She briefly attended Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. In a private note, Post was previously was married with Stephen Knox. The couple has been together from 1982 on to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer with whom she has two daughters. An amazing actress, and an ideal wife and mother Post has been a source of inspiration to many people in Hollywood.
